Why does it have to hurt so bad?

I am so fucking scared!
I am overwhelmed with fear

It crawls slowly up my body...
leaving my skin burning from it's touch
It chokes me until I can no longer breathe
I can feel the weight of it on my chest ~ crushing me
I feel its tendrils on my legs~preventing me from running
I feel it's filthy fingers across my mouth ~ leaving me without voice
It sucks all faith from my pores~ rendering me hopeless

MHPs would ask, "Is it a fear based in reality?"
It's my reality right now. It's my reality.
