If I Die Tonight

If I die tonight
Hold onto these last words
But do not let them bring you down
I am saying them to you
To help to get you through
When I am gone
If I die tonight
I would want you to know
How much you have meant to me
You have been a rock in my life
My source of strength through everything on this endless journey
I would not have made it this far without you and your support
If I die tonight
I would want you to know that I am very thankful
That I got the chance to be part of your life
As you have been such a wonderful part of mine
If I die tonight
I hope you’ll continue to live your life to the fullest
Knowing that I could not, in mine
So please, do it for me
If I die tonight
Please know that I will be in a better place
What wherever that place is know that I am happy
And please remember that I will always love you
Because love is the one thing what will never die

  3. Dear Grace,

I don't know if this is a poem expressing a feeling or a suicide note--if you're okay could you please let us know? I'm worried about you.

    Love,

  4. eeabee,
I'm so sorry to worry you...that was not my intention. I've just been in a funk-overwhelmed, tired, dissociative (I'm sure you know the drill...) and I haven't been writing this week as a result.
I'm still 'alive' (if you call this alive) - I have lots of things to say, but I can't find the words right now...
Thank you for your concern and love...It truly means a lot...
And I return it to you... ~ Grace

  6. Grace,

thank you but i also do understand, and it was more concern and love than worry, which i feel freely.

i do also have patches where i don't feel like writing or don't know where i am exactly too.

i hope you can get some rest (physical and emotional) for the tired part of how you're feeling at least.

    take care,
    eeabee
